Eric Trump: Domestic abusers are the ‘lowest of the low’
Eric Trump slammed domestic abusers as the “lowest of the low” during an interview on Tuesday while claiming the hoax powder sent to his brother, Donald Trump Jr., may have come from a person in Boston.
President Trump’s second eldest son said his dad values women in the workplace and takes allegations of of abuse very seriously during an appearance on WABC’s “Curtis and Cosby” show.
“There’s nothing worse in the world than domestic abuse,” Eric Trump said. “It’s truly the lowest of low and you have to take it very seriously and he does take it very seriously.”
Eric did not specifically address the allegations around ex-White House staff secretary Rob Porter, claiming: “I don’t know Rob all that well.”
He also spoke about the hoax powder sent to his brother, Donald Jr. — claiming he received similar package with lemonade powder about a year ago.
“I know the person who sent me a package came from, came from Boston, I believe this one might have as well,” he said, although he was not certain.
“It’s the same handwriting, it’s same type of tone and message.”
Donald Trump Jr.’s wife, Vanessa, was sent to the hospital as a precaution on Monday after opening a piece of mail that was addressed to her husband and contained powder.
The powder turned out to be cornstarch.
